Is there a way to make Windows 7's vga.sys and perhaps vgapnp.sys completely UEFI class 3 compatible? By that, I mean that on modern computers you don't have to change the UEFI settings and be able to boot to a Windows 7 installer media UEFI-native. On a lot of computers' UEFI settings, the setting 'UEFI' means UEFI Class 3 with no CSM activated alongside it. What normally happens is that even if you disable secure boot and copy bootx64.efi to efiboot, that the installer hangs on the Starting Windows loading screen, because Windows 7's native video drivers aren't UEFI compatible.

In addition, will slipstreaming graphics drivers, such as Intel HD Graphics drivers or whatever Nvidia or AMD offers, into boot.wim and install.wim solve this issue? What I am noticing is that after I install all my drivers, I can boot into Windows 7 normal mode with my BIOS set to 'UEFI only'.

Now, I understand that since Windows 8, this problem has been fixed and you can install Windows under UEFI with ease. But I have just been disappointed with 8 and 10 and so comfortable with 7 that I don't see myself installing the former OS's for my personal use. Since I foresee that I will have hard drives larger than 2TB as boot drives, I probably will need to install Windows 7 under UEFI.

My computer, the Lenovo Y50, is set to 'Legacy support' and 'UEFI first,' which is UEFI+CSM simultaneously. My Windows 7 installation is under UEFI, and my 850 Evo is formatted using GPT. I ask this question because many laptop and desktop brands don't have this UEFI+CSM or equivalent option in their BIOS's (I know Lenovo and MSI go out of their way to support this arrangement).
