What normally happens is that even if you disable secure boot and copy bootx64.efi to efiboot, that the installer hangs on the Starting Windows loading screen, because Windows 7's native video drivers aren't UEFI compatible.

Now, I understand that since Windows 8, this problem has been fixed and you can install Windows under UEFI with ease. But I have just been disappointed with 8 and 10 and so comfortable with 7 that I don't see myself installing the former OS's for my personal use. Since I foresee that I will have hard drives larger than 2TB as boot drives, I probably will need to install Windows 7 under UEFI.
My computer, the Lenovo Y50, is set to 'Legacy support' and 'UEFI first,' which is UEFI+CSM simultaneously. My Windows 7 installation is under UEFI, and my 850 Evo is formatted using GPT.
