Dell Photo All-in-One Printer 966, v.G16-EN, A02 This package contains Dell All-In-One Printer 966 drivers for Windows 2000, Windows XP 32-bit and Vista 32-bit. Once downloaded and executed the driver will install automatically and guide the user through the setup process. 32-bit Windows 7 Driver 64-bit Windows 7 Driver These drivers are indeed dated 2007, but they are rated for XP, Vista, and Windows 7 (and Microsoft has confirmed this compatibility).

I just upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 & spent 3 days trying to get my Dell Photo 966 Printer to work. Without rambling on about what did not work, here's what did:

Uninstall any other Dell printer drivers that get carried over from Windoze 8. Reboot.

then

Install the drivers from the disc, P/N TJ474 Rev. A01.

Also, remember that old printers like this don't like to be plugged into a USB 3 port.

It seems that only part of the drivers (for faxing) got carried over in the upgrade to 10, then when I tried to install the other drivers on top from 2 different discs I had that came with the printer, I kept getting error messages.

This is all kinda frustrating as the precheck before the upgrade indicated everything would be fine with no incompatibility issues. I also had an issue where my touchpad wouldn't work after the upgrade but thanks to other kind souls who had already figured that one out on this board, that was an easy fix.

Dell Aio 966 Driver Windows 7

Lucas, I am having the same problem that you experienced with the upgrade to Windows 10 but I cannot locate my 966 driver disc.. I was wondering if your solution of removing all the Dell 966 printer drivers by uninstalling them, Rebooting and then downloading the drivers from Dell work...?
